Southern DB Elijah Allen brings size and steady back-end toughness
Elijah Allen profiles as a physical, reliable **defensive back** who adds length at 6-1 and 175 pounds and has already logged career production at Southern, including tackles and a pass-breakup profile that suggests steady back-end involvement.[3][4] His value is less about flashy turnover numbers and more about versatility, willingness to tackle, and the kind of defensive maturity coaches trust in coverage and run support.[1][4] If you need a DB who can compete with size, play with discipline, and fit into a complementary role rather than force the spotlight, Allen is a solid roster fit.[3][4]
