Alabama State DB with the size-speed profile coaches covet
Ravon Butler’s appeal is less about flash and more about fit: as a defensive back for Alabama State, he brings the kind of versatile, assignment-sound profile that can hold up in space and help a defense stay multiple. Publicly available stat detail on his current 2026 production is limited, so the best read is that he’s an evaluative prospect whose value will come from coverage reliability, tackling consistency, and how well he matches up in man or zone looks. If your team needs a steady DB who can be coached up rather than a one-note highlight player, Butler is worth a close look.
