Experienced Ohio LB with size, depth-chart value, and steady tackling background
Eric Popp is a 6-1, 215-pound inside linebacker for Ohio who has been with the program for years and has appeared in 37 career games, giving him clear value as an experienced, system-ready defender.[1][4] His differentiator is reliability: he has posted 40 career tackles with one tackle for loss, suggesting a low-drama, assignment-sound linebacker who can help stabilize the middle of a defense rather than chase highlight-reel stats.[4] For teams, he fits best as a dependable depth piece or rotational LB whose experience and familiarity with Ohio’s structure can translate into trust on game day.[3][4]
