Jamal Walker Brings a Guard’s Pace, Touch, and Experience to Eastern Kentucky
Walker profiles as a steady backcourt piece for Eastern Kentucky, with ESPN listing him as a guard who posted 17 games and 6.8 points per game with 31.8% from three in the referenced season, suggesting a player who can handle a role without needing high usage. His appeal is less about flash and more about fit: a guard who can provide spacing, run the offense, and compete in a team-first setting. For a roster needing poise and perimeter stability, he looks like a practical, low-drama add rather than a high-variance gamble.
