LeRoy Alexander brings veteran safety experience and proven FCS playoff poise to YSU
LeRoy Alexander is a **senior safety** with Youngstown State who brings *size, experience, and a transfer pedigree* after previously being at Nebraska, and his 2016 Penguins profile lists him at 6-0, 195 pounds. He’s worth attention because he combines veteran defensive backfield savvy with playoff-level experience, which matters for a team looking for a dependable communicator and run-support safety rather than just a raw stat producer. His clearest differentiator is *maturity*: he has been around high-level programs and has already shown he can fit into a defense that values physical, assignment-sound play.
