MaKala Rouse brings two-way grit and veteran poise to Campbell
MaKala Rouse has been a do-it-all guard for Campbell, with documented seasons showing she can score, rebound, create for teammates, and disrupt possessions on defense. In the 2016-17 season, she averaged 4.4 points and 3.4 rebounds per game while ranking second on the team in steals and blocks, and she later showed more playmaking with 4.5 assists per game in late-2017 team coverage. Her value is bigger than the box score: she’s a versatile, active, defense-first competitor who can steady a lineup and fit a team that wants toughness, energy, and smart guard play.
