Projectable Righty with Experience but Work to Do on Run Prevention
Grant Brooks is a 6-foot-4, right-handed pitcher with a projectable frame and usable velocity, and Jacksonville’s 2026 roster lists him at 3-2 with a 9.22 ERA, 41 innings, and 28 strikeouts this season. That stat line says he has had some tough outings, but his size, right-handed arm slot, and strike-throwing foundation give him developmental appeal. He looks like a fit for a program willing to keep building his command and consistency rather than expecting instant weekend-starter dominance.
