Eben Hansen brings innings-eating flexibility to USI’s staff
In the 2026 season, Southern Indiana right-hander Eben Hansen appeared in 20 games with three starts, finishing 2-2 with an 8.10 ERA in 26.2 innings while holding hitters to a .288 average and striking out 12. He’s a durable, versatile arm who can start or work out of the bullpen, and he showed strikeout bursts with a season-high three punchouts against Bellarmine and Youngstown State. The upside case is his experience and adaptability; the caution flag is run prevention, so he looks more like a depth piece than a frontline anchor right now.
