Miami Legend RB Turned Virginia LB Powerhouse
James Jackson, a University of Miami Hall of Famer with 2,953 career rushing yards (4th all-time) and 29 rushing TDs (4th) from 1997-2000, has reinvented himself as a senior linebacker for Virginia, posting 45 tackles, 5.0 TFLs, and 2.0 sacks in just 7 injury-limited games during the 2024 season. His explosive athleticism (79 speed, 88 acceleration in EA CFB 26 rating of 76) and relentless intensity make him a tackling machine and pass-rush threat—perfect for teams needing versatile, battle-tested defenders with NFL measurables who thrive despite setbacks.
