Hailey Minchew brings veteran pop and catcher versatility to North Alabama
In the 2026 season, Hailey Minchew has played in 10 of North Alabama’s first 17 games and is hitting .231 with nine hits, two extra-base hits, and four runs scored[8]. The biggest draw is her proven offensive ceiling and catcher pedigree: her bio notes she owns North Alabama’s single-season home run record (19) and RBI record (64) from her sophomore year, plus an NFCA All-American nod and a .395 career batting average[8]. She looks like the kind of player who can change a lineup fast—experienced, productive, and built for pressure behind the plate[8].
