physical Nebraska slot WR back healthy and pushing for a bigger role
Bonner is a 6-foot-2, 225-pound former fullback turned wide receiver who brings a bruising, versatile style that Nebraska likes in the slot. In the 2024 season, he played all 13 games with three starts and produced 11 catches for 67 yards and a touchdown, plus two rushing scores; in 2025, he played in one game before a torn ACL ended his season. Entering 2026 fall camp fully healthy, he’s a tough, high-effort fit if a team wants a physical perimeter chess piece rather than a pure separator.
