Lafayette freshman RHP Nick DeSena adds upside, size, and a multi-sport edge
Nick DeSena is a freshman right-hander from Seton Hall Prep who arrives at Lafayette as part of the Leopards’ 2025 signing class, bringing a 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame and a background that includes baseball, football, and basketball. He was described by Lafayette as a two-time GNT Conference baseball champion and honor-roll student, which fits the profile of a competitive, coachable arm with athletic upside. He looks like a developmental fit rather than an instant stat-sheet headline, but that combination of polish, competitiveness, and projectable stuff makes him a worth-watching bullpen or rotation candidate.
