EKU’s stretch-four with rebounding chops and record-breaking range
In the 2023-24 season, Michael Moreno gave Eastern Kentucky a tough, experienced frontcourt presence, averaging 8.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists while shooting 43.4% from the field and 38.2% from three. His biggest differentiator is the rare combo of size and perimeter touch for a forward: he owns EKU’s career 3-pointers record and is also one of the program’s all-time rebounders, which makes him a fit for teams needing a stretch forward who does the dirty work too. He’s not flashy, but he’s productive, physical and dependable.
