Big-frame Southern receiver with proven explosiveness
William Waddel has the kind of profile that jumps off the page: a 6-foot-4 target who was listed as a redshirt freshman at Southern in 2011, and he has shown splash-play ability in Southern’s stats archive, including a 46-yard touchdown catch in 2012. His differentiator is obvious—size, catch radius, and red-zone upside—but the public record here is thin on recent season-by-season production, so he reads more like a developmental upside bet than a fully validated stat leader. If you want a boundary receiver with mismatch potential, he’s worth a look.
