Marshall's Steady DB with Proven Tackling Grit
T.J. Carper, Marshall Thundering Herd's reliable cornerback, stands out for his physical intensity and resilience, having racked up 39 tackles in just five starts during the 2007 season before a knee injury sidelined him—highlighting his high-motor play that disrupts passes and stuffs the run. With 80 career tackles by his junior year, he's a versatile defender who brings Big 12-level experience (from Iowa State days) to the secondary, making him an ideal fit for teams needing tough, battle-tested DBs who rebound strong and elevate defenses.
