Reliable edge presence for Weber State
In the 2025 season, James Washington emerged as a steady rotational piece for Weber State at defensive end, appearing in all 11 games, starting five, and producing 19 total tackles. His value is in consistency and availability: he was on the field every week, gave the Wildcats a dependable front-seven presence, and showed enough trust from the staff to earn multiple starts. For a team looking for a durable, assignment-sound DE who can contribute without needing the spotlight, Washington looks like a solid fit.
