Detrius Roberson brings quick guard play and a scoring spark to New Mexico State
Roberson is a compact **5-11 point guard** who profiles as a pace-setting backcourt piece for New Mexico State, with enough shot-making to flash a scoring ceiling after posting a **career-high 15 points** in NCAA play.[1][4] His value is more about guard control, perimeter feel, and attacking in bursts than gaudy volume, which can make him a useful fit for a team needing reliable ball handling and energy. The main question is consistency, but his size, guard identity, and proven ability to contribute as a creator give him a clear role appeal.[1][4]
