a rugged, efficient post presence with proven Furman roots
Lakyn Ledford is a former Furman contributor who showed real interior efficiency in the 2009-10 season, including 8.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, plus a strong finish around the rim and dependable free-throw touch for a center[3]. She projects as a hard-nosed, paint-first big who brings physicality, screens, and rebounding more than flashy scoring, which makes her appealing if a team needs toughness and interior stability. The catch: the available public data is historical, so current 2025-26 form, rankings, and injury context aren’t verifiable from the sources gathered here.
