Chad Hudson brings veteran guard grit, but scoring pop has been limited
In the 2025-26 season, Chad Hudson is listed as an IU Indianapolis guard and ESPN shows him producing modest numbers—0.7 points, 0.2 rebounds, 0.2 assists per game with 30.0% shooting—so his value is more about experience and steadiness than box-score flash[1]. Earlier IU Indy roster notes show he was a 5-11 guard from Jeffersonville who earned academic recognition and played within a bench role, which points to a disciplined, team-first profile rather than a high-usage scorer[3]. If you need a low-maintenance, mature guard who understands his role and won’t force the issue, he fits; if you need a creator to bend a defense, he probably isn’t that guy[1][3].
