versatile CSU DB turned playmaker with special-teams juice
Awunganyi’s calling card has always been versatility: as a Colorado State freshman in 2016, he played in eight games on defense and special teams, posting four tackles, a pass breakup, and a kickoff return, then later saw the staff explore him at wide receiver because of his athleticism and ball skills. He was a 6-foot, 170-pound recruit with multi-phase value and a reputation as a competitive, high-motor athlete. For a roster, that means a guy who can help in the secondary and on special teams—but his fit depends on how much you value development upside over immediate, proven production.
