veteran Memphis DB with special-teams value and steady, physical reliability
In the 2019 season, Colton Cochran played in 26 games for Memphis, mostly on special teams, with 7 tackles and a blocked kick, which points to a dependable, assignment-sound DB who brings grit more than flash. At 6-0, 202, he profiles as a physical, experienced depth piece who can help in coverage support and kicking game work. The big appeal is versatility, toughness, and local-state pride out of Memphis, Tennessee — a fit for a team that wants a hard-nosed, team-first defender rather than a headline machine.
