John Russ brings length, experience, and upside to Delaware’s secondary
John Russ is a 6-foot-1, 180-pound defensive back on Delaware’s roster, giving the Blue Hens a long, lean frame that fits modern coverage roles well in the 2026 season[1][8]. The most concrete takeaway is his raw profile and listed freshman status, which point to developmental upside more than a stat-sheet résumé; that makes him an intriguing depth piece if a staff wants athletic range and coachable traits in the secondary[1].
