Chris Walsh is Monmouth’s steady run-producer with real all-around pop
In the 2026 season, Walsh has been a tone-setter for Monmouth: he earned CAA Co-Player of the Week honors in March, hit a key team-leading early homer in April, and kept reaching base in long stretches while driving in runs from the middle of the order. He profiles as a physical, versatile 1B/OF who brings gap power, strike-zone discipline, and sneaky baserunning value, plus solid defense (.989 fielding percentage in 2025). If your team wants a tough out who shows up in big spots, Walsh fits the bill.
