Jeff Perry brings size, smarts, and senior stability to CMU’s linebacker room
Jeff Perry is a 6-2, 230-pound linebacker listed as a senior/graduate student for Central Michigan, which signals old-school experience and plug-and-play reliability in the middle of the defense. His value is less about flashy splash plays and more about being a steady, assignment-sound presence who can handle the physical grind and help organize a unit. He also has a strong academic profile, which usually tracks with football IQ and coachability. If a team wants a mature, dependable linebacker rather than a project, Perry is the kind of no-drama, lunch-pail fit coaches love.
