steady Kansas guard with a facilitator’s touch and blue-collar edge
Kristen May’s Kansas profile points to a classic point-guard fit: a 5-foot-8 guard who was valued for playmaking, hustle, and doing the little things that swing games rather than just stuffing a stat sheet. In her Kansas years, she was described as a strong assister who could also rebound well for her size, and a 2010 KU game story noted her knack for racking up seven assists and eight rebounds despite an off shooting night. The appeal here is the combination of unselfishness, grit, and floor leadership—ideal for a team that wants poise, tempo control, and competitive toughness.
