Marcus Dickey brings a sturdy 6-foot-3, 245-pound frame and a disruptive edge that showed up in high school, where he posted 61 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles as a senior and earned Mississippi 6A All-State First Team honors.[2] At Nicholls, he has been more of a rotational and special-teams piece so far, appearing in nine games in 2023 and recording two tackles, so his fit is best viewed as a depth DL with upside rather than an instant-impact starter.[2] He looks like a physical, high-motor prospect whose value comes from effort, play strength, and room to develop.[2]
