Big-Game, Pro-Style Iowa Passing Grade
Stanley was a high-volume, durable quarterback at Iowa, starting 39 games and finishing his college career with 8,302 passing yards and 68 touchdowns, including a 2019 season of 2,951 yards and 16 TDs[12][2]. His best differentiators were poise, command in big moments, and a track record of winning in a demanding offense, though accuracy consistency was a noted critique and he never topped 60% completion in a season[17][18]. If you want a calm, experienced field general with proven production and leadership, he fit the profile; if you need elite mobility or pinpoint efficiency, the fit was less ideal[17][18].
