a veteran Redhawks DB with local-street toughness
Eddie McCray’s profile is hard to verify cleanly in current public stat feeds, but available Southeast Missouri State roster records show him as a defensive back and a St. Louis-area product, which usually points to a homegrown, gritty fit in the secondary. The clearest takeaway is that he brings depth and experience rather than splashy headline numbers, so the appeal is all about reliability, toughness, and comfort in a program that values defensive backfield competition. For a team needing an instinctive, battle-tested CB with regional ties and a blue-collar edge, he’s the kind of player worth a closer look.
