Harvard's Gritty Wing with Untapped Upside
Weisner Perez, a 6-7 forward from Harvard's class of 2019, flashed sophomore promise with timely threes (like 10 points vs. Columbia in 2016) and rebounding tenacity (2.2 rpg, 2.6 ppg as freshman), emerging from limited minutes to captain the Crimson in his senior year—showcasing leadership, work ethic, and shooter potential that made him Morton West's all-time scoring leader. His economics-major smarts and regional championship pedigree highlight a high-IQ, committed role player ideal for teams needing versatile depth and intensity off the bench.
