Texas Southern OG with Pro-Ready Guard Skills
Jahlil Mathis-Ellis, an Offensive Guard for the Texas Southern Tigers, stands out as a technically polished interior lineman with a proven track record at the FCS level, having been profiled by NFL Draft Diamonds as a standout OG from Texas Southern University[3]. While specific 2025-26 performance stats for Mathis-Ellis are not currently available in public databases, his differentiation lies in his foundational strength and reliability in the trenches, making him a high-intensity, low-maintenance fit for teams needing immediate depth or a developmental project with NFL upside[3]. Coaches value his steady presence and ability to anchor the line, though his injury history and current intensity levels require direct verification with the team, as no recent news highlights his current season stats or awards[1][2]. If your team prioritizes technical guard play and long-term development, Mathis-Ellis is a compelling prospect worth a closer look.
