Jacob Broussard brings local grit and low-usage guard depth for Louisiana
Broussard is a Lafayette native and veteran Louisiana guard whose value is more about familiarity, effort, and steady depth than box-score production—he averaged 0.9 points in 3.5 minutes per game, with a season-high six points in back-to-back games, and has also shown defensive activity in steals totals. His profile suggests a hard-nosed, role-player fit rather than a high-usage creator, so he makes sense for a team that wants dependable energy, practice competitiveness, and a player who understands a program’s culture.[1][3][4][5]
