Dayona Godwin brings steady backcourt production and timely scoring for Maryland Eastern Shore
Godwin has shown she can be a useful, high-IQ guard for Maryland Eastern Shore, with a career-high 13 points against South Carolina State in the 2019-20 season and double-digit scoring in 13 games that year. Her value is less about flashy volume and more about steady, situational impact—she gave the Hawks 12 key points in a win at Morgan State and has been trusted in meaningful stretches. At 5'5", she profiles as a scrappy, competitive guard who fits teams needing toughness, pace, and reliable guard play.
