veteran UC Riverside center who gives the Highlanders size, interior resistance, and steady post presence
Astrid Spegel is listed as a 6-3 center from Curitiba, Brazil, and her profile with UC Riverside identifies her as a true interior player who adds length and rim protection value[1][2]. The available game logs show she has produced double-digit scoring nights against conference-level opponents, suggesting she can punish smaller frontcourts and hold her own physically in the paint[7][8]. She looks like a fit for teams that want a tough, paint-first big who can anchor the lane rather than stretch the floor[2][15].
