Portland State’s steady long-snap anchor: Ryan Alvidrez
Ryan Alvidrez has been a reliable special-teams piece for Portland State, starting every game over multiple seasons and earning praise for a perfect long-snapping record with the Vikings, while also being noted as a top-tier camp performer and one of the nation’s better specialists. His value is consistency under pressure: long snappers rarely make headlines unless something goes wrong, and Alvidrez’s differentiator is that it usually doesn’t. If you want a low-drama, high-trust specialist who helps field position and kicking operations stay clean, he fits.
