Harper Haas brings local speed, versatility, and Baylor-ready hustle
In the 2026 season, Harper Haas is a Baylor freshman outfielder from Waco who offers real value as a quick, aggressive defender and runner with local pedigree and a high-motor profile. Baylor lists her at 5-foot-7, right-handed, and she arrived after hitting .385 as a high school junior and going a perfect 14-for-14 on stolen-base attempts, which screams efficient speed and smart baserunning. She also earned a state runner-up finish in 2024 and was active in leadership/service groups, a nice sign of competitiveness and maturity for a young player trying to carve out a role.
