Kaylan Martin brings steady point-guard savvy and coach-friendly poise to Texas State
Kaylan Martin has long been profiled as a tough, savvy guard with real floor-general traits, and that reputation still fits: Texas State once described her as one of the best court generals to come out of Texas, praising her preparation, intelligence, and focus[8]. In her Texas State years, she flashed playmaking pop, including a nine-assist game, which underscores her value as a connector more than a pure scorer[13]. She’s the kind of guard who can organize an offense, set a competitive tone, and fit a team that wants discipline and steady decision-making over highlight-hunting.
