Ball-hawking UAPB safety with playmaking juice
Stewart Franks stood out at Arkansas-Pine Bluff as a rangy, playmaking free safety: in the 2007 season he posted 56 tackles and 3 interceptions, and in 2008 he added another pick while flashing special-teams pop with an 89-yard punt return touchdown. He was also honored as a preseason All-American and All-SWAC-caliber defender, which speaks to his reputation as an impact player, not just a stat-sheet cleaner. If you want a defender who can create turnovers, handle space, and tilt momentum in a hurry, Franks fit the bill.
