defensive-minded Aggie guard with a coach-friendly floor game
Tierra Thomas was a disciplined, focused North Carolina A&T guard who could play either backcourt spot and earned trust by understanding the Aggies’ defense, starting six games in the 2008-09 season. In that season, she averaged 4.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 17.4 minutes while shooting 32.4% from the field and 72.0% at the line. The big differentiator here is reliability on the defensive end and a winning-program pedigree from Bishop McNamara. If you want a steady, team-first guard who fits structure and accountability, she’s the kind of player coaches usually love.
