Day Day Bright brings veteran pop and sure tackling to Jackson State’s secondary
In the 2024 season, Day Day Bright emerged as a steady, physical corner for Jackson State, starting at corner in the opener and later leading the Tigers with eight solo tackles against Southern, a good sign of his run support and downhill trigger. He’s valued less for flashy ball-hawking numbers than for reliability, toughness, and the ability to handle real snaps without blinking. That makes him a fit for a defense that wants a mature, versatile DB who can tackle, stay composed, and help set the tone on the perimeter.
