Citadel DB with Ball-Hawking Instincts and Academic Excellence
Carl Cunningham Jr., a 6'1", 180-lb graduate student defensive back for The Citadel Bulldogs, brings high-motor playmaking to the secondary—posting 60 tackles, 3 INTs, 4 fumble recoveries, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 TD in his senior HS season per Citadel roster data—while earning 2017 Academic All-Southern Conference honors as a PhD holder from Southern Miss. His disciplined intensity and football IQ make him a versatile, low-risk fit for teams needing smart, turnover-forcing DBs who excel off-field too. A hidden gem for depth charts.
