Maceo Donald is a compact ECU receiver with speed, toughness, and upside
Maceo Donald enters the 2026 season as a third-year East Carolina wideout at 5-foot-8, 171 pounds, and his appeal is the classic slot-profile combo: quickness, change-of-direction burst, and the kind of scrappy edge coaches love. ECU’s roster lists him as a wide receiver from Beaufort and East Carteret, while ESPN’s 2026 player page shows no receiving production yet, so the intrigue is more about developmental upside than box-score dominance right now[1][2]. If you need a fearless, lower-center-of-gravity receiver who can separate underneath and compete for every inch, he’s the kind of fit that can quietly become annoying in the best way.
