Colgate linebacker David Wesley brings veteran tackling juice and steady field awareness
David Wesley profiles as a dependable, assignment-sound linebacker with proven production at Colgate; in his career there, he logged 110 tackles, including 54 solo stops, plus two tackles for loss, a sack, a forced-fumble recovery, and two pass breakups. His value is less about flash and more about range, reliability, and doing the dirty work well, which makes him the kind of defender coaches trust on early downs and in run fits. If your team wants toughness, discipline, and a player who can hold the middle together, he’s worth a hard look.
