veteran Texas linebacker with scout-team grit and no-frills toughness
Cody Ramirez is a third-year linebacker at Texas who earned valuable experience on the scout team and redshirted as a freshman, which points to a player built on durability, work rate, and coach trust rather than headline stats. His appeal is the grinder profile: dependable, experienced, and steeped in the Longhorns’ system, but with limited publicly tracked production, he looks more like a depth-and-special-teams fit than a proven impact starter in the 2026 season.
