Veteran CCSU interior plug with disruptive flashes
Watkins is a 6'0", 300-pound senior defensive lineman for Central Connecticut State who has been a steady part of the Blue Devils’ front, with 21 tackles and 2.5 sacks in the 2024 season after 14 tackles and 2.0 sacks in 2023. He brings compact power, leverage, and inside toughness, and he has shown the ability to generate some backfield disruption without needing ideal length or flash. For a team seeking a dependable, physical interior DL who can hold ground and occasionally dent the pocket, he’s worth a serious look.
