McNeese State’s Dominant Center with Elite Rebounding and Intensity
Sade' Coates, the 6-2 center for McNeese State Cowgirls, stands out not just for her 9.8 rebounds per game in the 2025 season but for her relentless defensive intensity and academic discipline—she’s on the McNeese President’s Honor List for fall 2025. Unlike many centers who rely solely on size, Coates differentiates herself with quick footwork, a 68% field goal percentage, and a personality that elevates team morale. She has no significant injury history, maintains elite stamina through all four quarters, and is a natural fit for teams seeking a high-effort, low-turnover anchor in the paint. Her blend of strength, consistency, and leadership makes her a must-watch prospect for any competitive roster.
