a sturdy Rhody DL with proven disruptive flashes
Jose Duncan has long been the kind of Rhode Island defensive lineman coaches trust: a physical, versatile interior presence who has shown he can handle tackle or end, rack up tackles, and flash real backfield disruption. In the 2016 season, he was noted as one of Rhody’s top returning defenders and earned CAA Football Third Team All-Conference recognition after helping the defense improve its sack production. He stands out more for consistency, toughness, and alignment flexibility than pure splashy stats, which makes him a useful fit for a team that wants a reliable trench worker with experience.
