Experienced Richmond DB with a proven lineup role
Ayo Ogunniyi is a veteran Richmond defensive back whose value comes from experience, versatility, and game-ready reliability rather than headline-grabbing stats; Richmond listed him as a senior DB in 2015, and the program’s summer interview with him underscores that he was focused on offseason preparation and entering a big senior campaign. That combination suggests a player coaches could trust in the secondary for assignment discipline and maturity, making him a strong fit for teams that want a steady, detail-oriented defensive back who understands the college game.
