Lewis Halton brings Australian-style punting experience to Murray State
Halton stands out as a specialized **punter** with transfer-style experience and enough trust from Murray State to be listed as the Racers’ punter in 2023 and again in 2024 football materials, which matters because field position can swing games fast.[5] He also had a notable in-game moment in which a punt was blocked, so the profile here is less about flashy box-score volume and more about whether he can deliver consistent hang time, placement, and coverage-friendly punts under pressure.[1] If your team wants a field-position specialist with clear role definition, he is the kind of player who can quietly change possessions.
