Physical, playmaking South Carolina CB with NFL-caliber competitiveness
Victor Hampton stood out at South Carolina as a tough, high-motor cornerback who combined quick change-of-direction ability with a knack for making plays on the ball; 247Sports described him as a “most improved” defender with strong explosion and recovery traits, while Gamecock and NFL bios list him as a productive, durable presence with a history of tackles, pass breakups, and interceptions. He also brings a reputation for intensity and community-minded leadership, but teams should weigh his shorter frame and a past off-field incident that affected his pro stock.
