Presbyterian LB Evan Murphy: Name on the roster, but the stat sheet is still waiting to wake up
Evan Murphy is listed as a Presbyterian linebacker, but the public stat trail is extremely thin: ESPN’s career page shows only one recorded season (2021) with no tackles, sacks, or interceptions, and Presbyterian’s roster/athletics pages don’t surface a meaningful statistical profile[1][2]. That makes him more of an unknown upside play than a proven production machine—so the real questions are about practice impact, special-teams value, and whether his physicality and football IQ show up in hidden reps. In short: intriguing if you want a developmental defender, not a plug-and-play headline tackler[1][2].
